    George Bianchi is recognized as an innovator in DUI defense, having lectured at numerous CLE programs throughout the U.S. Founding member, former regent, dean, and current fellow to the NCDD. In 2003, received the NCDD "Dean's Service Award". Annually named "Super Lawyer", one of the Top 25 in Criminal Defense and one of Seattle's Top Criminal Defense Lawyers. In 2012 received a Certificate of Appreciation from WACDL "In Recognition of and Appreciation for Distinguished Service to the Organization and Its Goals", and in 2013 presented with the President's Award "For Distinguished Service to the Highest Traditions of the Criminal Defense Bar."

    Doug Cowan has exclusively defended DUIs for almost 40 years; lectured/conducted workshops in 19 states; co-authored Defending DUIs in WA; Founder and current Fellow of the National College for DUI Defense, served on its Board of Regents 1994-2000, & its Dean the 1996-97 academic year – received its Lifetime Achievement Award in 2000 in recognition of a career committed to excellence in the representation of his clients and for his many contributions to the betterment of the DUI Defense Bar. He was a founder of WFCJ & its President 1989–98. Doug has been named one of "Seattle's Best Lawyers" by Seattle Magazine, and a "Super Lawyer" by Washington Law & Politics Magazine since 2000.

    Ken Fornabai is Past President of the WA Foundation for Criminal Justice, with a practice limited to defending persons accused of alcohol-related offenses. He is a founding member of the National College for DUI Defense and nationally recognized for DUI defense. Certified in administration of SFSTs, he has lectured at UW School of Law DUI Defense Certification Program, WFCJ annual Defending DUIs seminar since 1986, Minnesota Society of Criminal Justice, Nebraska Criminal Defense seminar, and National College for DUI Defense held at Harvard Law School. He has been voted a "Super Lawyer" by Washington Law and Politics annually since 2001 and is AV rated by Martindale-Hubbell.

    Jon Fox has practiced DUI defense for thirty+ years, been repeatedly recognized as a "Super Lawyer" by WA Law and Politics and been named to Seattle Magazine's list of "Seattle's Best Lawyers." Limiting his practice to DUI defense, Jon has served on the faculties of the National College for DUI Defense and dozens of legal education programs around the country; as past chair of the Criminal Law Section, WA State Bar Association; featured in WA State Bar News, Trial News, Defense and Overruled magazines; a founder and has served on the board of the WA Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers and is the coauthor of Defending DUIs in Washington, (Lexis/Nexis Publishers).

    Bill Kirk has been with Cowan Kirk Gaston since 2000 practicing exclusively in the area of DUI and BUI Defense. Named a Super Lawyer by Washington Law and Politics every year since 2003 Bill currently serves as the President of the Washington Foundation for Criminal Justice. He has been recognized as one of Washington's Top 25 Defense Attorneys on two separate occasions. He currently serves on the Board of Regents to the National College for DUI Defense and is Board Certified by the National College. A regular speaker at this seminar, Bill has lectured now in over a dozen states in the area of DUI Defense.

    Al Rinaldi
    Al Rinaldi graduated from Torrington High School in Connecticut in 1956. He came to Seattle at the age of 17 and attended Seattle University where he graduated in 1960 with a Bachelor of Commercial Science degree. He then attended the University of Washington School of Law and graduated with a Juris Doctor degree in 1963. After serving in the US Army he eventually worked as a King County Depurty Prosecutor from 1968 to l971. He left the office as a Senior Deputy Prosecutor and joined the law firm which eventually became Bianchi, Tobin and Rinaldi. He has continually practiced criminal defense, speciallizing in DUI Defense and traffic matters.

    Andrea Robertson graduated 1998 from the UW School of Law a member of the National Order of Barristers & UW Moot Court Honor Board. She began as a public defender in Snohomish County, and has represented hundreds of persons accused of DUIs, misdemeanors, & felonies. She has handled appellate matters in Division 1 Court of Appeals & the WA Supreme Court. Repeatedly a "Rising Star" including in 2013. 2004 Warrior Graduate, Gerry Spence Trial Lawyers College; speaker and author for WFCJ, WACDL, & the WA Defender Assoc. Andy operates a firm with her husband, Ryan Robertson.

    Judge Robert McBeth was a King County District Court Judge 1981-2005; Presiding Judge 1986; President, Washington State District and Municipal Court Judges Association 1997; "Judge of the Year" Award–WSTLA 1999; Faculty Counsel, National Judicial College 2007-2010; Author and annually updater of the Washington Search and Seizure Deskbook for Judges, initially published in 1990; National Judicial College Faculty 2000-Present; has lectured for the Washington Judicial College and the WSBA on search and seizure issues; and has done numerous presentations at Washington Judicial Conferences on the issues of search and seizure.

    Diego Vargas is a gifted Washington State vehicular assault, vehicular homicide and DUI trial lawyer. Mr. Vargas has litigated more than 100 jury trials to verdict. His trial techniques and courtroom presentations have earned him admiration from the judiciary, his peers and most importantly, his clients. As a result of his hard work and dedication to the aggressive defense of his clients, Washington Law & Politics has repeatedly recognized Mr. Vargas as a "Rising Star" and "Super Lawyer". Mr. Vargas devotes his practice exclusively to defending individuals accused of Driving Under the Influence of Drugs or Alcohol, Vehicular Assault and Vehicular Homicide.
