George Bianchi

George Bianchi joined The Bianchi Law Firm in 1985, and has become recognized as an innovator in the defense of DUI and other alcohol/drug related crimes, lecturing at CLE Programs throughout the US and Mexico. Doug Cowan

Doug Cowan has exclusively defended DUIs for almost 40 years; lectured/conducted workshops in 19 states; co-authored Defending DUIs in WA; Founder and current Fellow of the National College for DUI Defense, served on its Board of Regents 1994-2000, & its Dean the 1996-97 academic year - received its Lifetime Achievement Award in 2000 in recognition of a career committed to excellence in the representation of his clients and for his many contributions to the betterment of the DUI Defense Bar. He was a founder of WFCJ & its President 1989-98. Doug has been named one of "Seattle's Best Lawyers" by Seattle Magazine, and a "Super Lawyer" by Washington Law & Politics Magazine since 2000.

Francisco Duarte

Francisco Duarte, former Assistant Attorney General and Deputy King Co. Prosecutor, is a director & former chair of Lawyers Helping Hungry Children, served on the Board of Directors of the Seattle Shakespeare Co., past chair of WSBA Criminal Law Section, WSBA Criminal Justice Institute, and WACDL Public Education Committee. He has taught trial practice in Botswana, Kenya, and Mexico, served on the faculty of the NITA and since 2006 on the faculty of the Trial Lawyers College, founded by Gerry Spence; teaches trial advocacy at the UW School of Law; appeared on Northwest Cable News & radio programs as a legal analyst. Ken Fornabai

Ken Fornabai is Past President of the WA Foundation for Criminal Justice, with a practice limited to defending persons accused of alcohol-related offenses. He is a founding member of the National College for DUI Defense and nationally recognized for DUI defense. Certified in administration of SFSTs, he has lectured at UW School of Law DUI Defense Certification Program, WFCJ annual Defending DUIs seminar since 1986, Minnesota Society of Criminal Justice, Nebraska Criminal Defense seminar, and National College for DUI Defense held at Harvard Law School. He has been voted a "Super Lawyer" by Washington Law and Politics annually since 2001 and is AV rated by Martindale-Hubbell.

Jon Fox

Jon Fox has practiced DUI defense for thirty+ years, been repeatedly recognized as a "Super Lawyer" by WA Law and Politics and been named to Seattle Magazine's list of "Seattle's Best Lawyers." Patricia Fulton

Patricia Fulton devotes her practice to defending clients accused of crimes, especially DUIs. Since graduating from the University of Washington School of Law in 1999, Patricia has earned a reputation as an articulate and thoughtful advocate. In addition to membership in numerous criminal defense and trial organizations, Patricia is a past President of the Northwest Academy of DUI Defense. Mark W. Garka

Mark W. Eric Gaston

Eric Gaston - A former prosecutor, Eric joined the DUI firm of Cowan Kirk Gaston in 2005. With a practice limited to defending those accused of DUI, Eric has garnered high praise from his peers and the bench, including recognition in Washington Law and Politics as a "Rising Star" and "Super Lawyer" over the past 10 years. Bill Kirk

Bill Kirk has been with Cowan Kirk Gaston since 2000 where he practices exclusively in the area of defending those accused of DUI. Prior to becoming a defense attorney, Bill was a Deputy Proseucting Attorney in both King and Spokane County. Seven times named a "Super Lawyer" by Washington Law and Politics Magazine, Bill has been recognized as one of Washington's Top 25 Criminal Defense Attorneys by the same publication the last three years. A regular speaker at this seminar, he has also spoken in several other states. He was named to the Board of Regents in 2009 and became Board Certified by the NCDD in 2011.

Mary Catherine McMurray, B.S

Mary Catherine McMurray, B.S. provides consultation and review of laboratory analysis and expert testimony in both civil and criminal cases for chemical testing of breath, blood or urine for ethyl alcohol and interpretation of the analytical results. With a Bachelor of Science degree in 1984 from the U. of Wisconsin, she has worked in the field of forensic alcohol testing since 1986 including experience with the Intoxilyzer, DataMaster, ECIR and Draeger devices. Ms. McMurray has taught classes, given presentations, and qualified and testified as an expert witness in her specialty areas in courts across the United States as well as in Canada and Germany (for the US Military).
Brit Mercer

Brit Mercer graduated from the UW School of Law and has devoted her career to defending individuals accused of crimes, representing hundreds of people in municipal, district, superior and federal courts. She has significant experience defending DUIs, other criminal traffic violations, domestic violence and other serious misdemeanor and felony offenses. After nearly a decade in private practice, Brit joined Schroeter Goldmark & Bender's Criminal Defense practice with a focus on DUI Defense, related vehicular charges such as Physical Control, Felony DUI, Vehicular Homicide and Assault. Hard work and integrity have earned her the respect of her peers, adversaries and clients.

Al Rinaldi

Al Rinaldi graduated from Torrington High School in Connecticut in 1956. He came to Seattle at the age of 17 and attended Seattle University where he graduated in 1960 with a Bachelor of Commercial Science degree. He then attended the University of Washington School of Law and graduated with a Juris Doctor degree in 1963. After serving in the US Army he eventually worked as a King County Depurty Prosecutor from 1968 to l971. He left the office as a Senior Deputy Prosecutor and joined the law firm which eventually became Bianchi, Tobin and Rinaldi. He has continually practiced criminal defense, speciallizing in DUI Defense and traffic matters.
