He was a founder of WFCJ & its President 1989-98. Doug has been named one of "Seattle's Best Lawyers" by Seattle Magazine, and a "Super Lawyer" by Washington Law & Politics Magazine since 2000.

    FRANCISCO DUARTE former Assistant Attorney General and Deputy King Co. Certified in administration of SFSTs, he has lectured at UW School of Law DUI Defense Certification Program, WFCJ annual Defending DUIs seminar since 1986, Minnesota Society of Criminal Justice, Nebraska Criminal Defense seminar, and National College for DUI Defense held at Harvard Law School. He has been voted a "Super Lawyer" by Washington Law and Politics annually since 2001 and is AV rated by Martindale-Hubbell.

Prior to becoming a defense attorney, Bill was a Deputy Proseucting Attorney in both King and Spokane County. Seven times named a "Super Lawyer" by Washington Law and Politics Magazine, Bill has been recognized as one of Washington's Top 25 Criminal Defense Attorneys by the same publication the last three years. A regular speaker at this seminar, he has also spoken in several other states. He was named to the Board of Regents in 2009 and became Board Certified by the NCDD in 2011.

    LANCE PLATT, Ph.D. president of Platt & Assoc. impaired driving consulting, Bryan, Texas, was responsible for the training and management of the Texas DECP as well as several nationally recognized impaired driving training programs and initiatives including SFST. He attained the Certification of Texas Master Peace Officer and is a National Highway Traffic Safety Administration SFST Practitioner, Instructor and Train The Trainer as well as a Law Enforcement Instructor. He teaches at the U. of Texas Law School in the Criminal Defense Clinic, has taught college law enforcement courses and provided expert testimony & consulting in procedures, detection and SFST nationwide.

    ANDREA ROBERTSON graduated from UW School of Law in 1998 as a member of the National Order of Barristers and the UW Moot Court Honor Board, and served as a public defender in Snohomish Co. Andy has represented hundreds of persons accused of criminal charges including DUIs, misdemeanors, and felonies; handled appellate matters in the Division 1 Court of Appeals and the WA Supreme Court; and repeatedly been named a "Rising Star in Washington Law." She is a 2004 Warrior Graduate of the Gerry Spence Trial Lawyers College, and has been a featured speaker and author for other statewide seminars & publications, including WACDL and WA Defender Assoc.

He is a Regent of the National College for DUI Defense, Chairman of its Amicus Committee, and former President of the Maryland Criminal Defense Attorneys' Assoc.     KEVIN TROMBOLD aggressively litigated hundreds of DUI cases during 9 years as a Public Defender for King Co. In 2002, he started his own practice and is regarded as one of the hardest working and innovative DUI defense attorneys. Kevin created the WA DUI Center (www.waduicenter.com), making available extensive research materials for those defending DUIs and with his strong focus on the science behind the DataMaster, has been instrumental in litigation holding the WA State Toxicology Lab responsible for it's indiscretions.     TED VOSK has been defending people accused of DUIs for over 15 years and been involved with many of the major "DUI motions," including winning a series of motions in 2002 that led to almost every breath test being suppressed in King, Island and Skagit Counties. Geoff lobbies on behalf of WACDL for people accused of DUI and has written and fought for several bills and amendments that were passed into law which have actually helped people accused of DUI. He serves on the boards of directors for Citizens for Judicial Excellence and the WA Assoc. of Criminal Defense Attorneys.
